I would like to add my experience which differs a bit – that being the pursuit of “finding my people” was not the right pursuit for me.
Unfortunately it created a crushing sense of pressure that I could not seem to get “right” enough times to have that experience.
“My people” are scattered throughout the world, in the least expected places and are definitely not in a place to offer much support to me. And vice versa. And I guess that makes it marginally possible. I do not define them as “my people” though. My guess is that the intention of this idea is to offer an endless amount of possibilities to people who often don’t have any or many.
I think the wording could use some adjusting to be less possessive so maybe not to use the word. My since I don’t like thinking that I am in possession of another human and that’s what comes up for me when I read that.
Do I have another option to suggest?
Sadly no I’m really sorry about that.

Thank you for giving space for my thoughts. And thank you for most of the time being useful (trust me, that’s a really good thing in my books)
