I object strongly to the catch-all term ADHD. To me this is a lazy shortcut by the psych industry. I have ADD, with NO hyperactivity. I bristle at this label. It’s like accusing me of a crime that I did not commit.
We can write this as a mathematical expression: A+D+H+d-H = ADD. I have ADD Inattentive Type. So use that label when describing me. DO YOU NOT GET IT? Go back to 9th Grade algebra.
