Episode Description

Healthy habits — the phrase sends shivers through most adults with ADHD. Many of my ADHD coaching clients tell me, “I know I should make healthier habits, but I’ve tried it before and it doesn’t work for me.”

The good news is that you can and already have formed habits. They may not be the habits you want, but you likely follow a daily routine of some kind. It may include, for example, not washing dishes after you eat, avoiding laundry until you have no more underwear, or cutting time extremely close when planning on leaving.

So what if part of your forward-looking strategy is not just to create healthier habits, but rather to make adjustments to your existing habits? Or to build on your current routines or lack thereof? The secret is developing a plan to keep these changes in place; doing so will make your day more enjoyable and productive.

In this webinar, you will learn how to:

  • Identify your current habits
  • Evaluate how your habits contribute to your well-being (or not)
  • Develop strategies to replace habits that aren’t working for you
  • Use techniques such as habit stacking and chaining to help change or form new habits
  • Shift to a proactive versus reactive approach in moving through your day
  • Strategize ways to make your new habit stick
