Free Webinar Replay: Living in Uncertain Times: Coping Strategies for Adults on the Autism Spectrum

In this hour long webinar on demand, learn coping strategies for adults on the autism spectrum, with Stephen Shore, Ed.D,

No one is immune to the disruptions and changes brought on by this global pandemic. For adults on the autism spectrum, the loss of routines and expectations is especially damaging, often leading to seemingly insurmountable anxiety. For those of all ages throughout the autism spectrum, support from family and care team members is critical to easing the transition from established routines to new ones — at school, at home, and at the workplace.

Autistic adults should explore strength-based tactics for keeping in touch with others, improving self-regulation, planning alternate ways to meet needs and achieve goals, and suggestions for self-care. After this webinar, you will come away with easy-to-implement, practical solutions for coping and thriving as a person on the autism spectrum during this unsettled time.

In this webinar you will learn

  • Support strategies for maximizing mental and physical health
  • How to reframe thinking away from deficit and disorder toward an individual’s strengths
  • How to tap into the Big Three 3 model to lead a more fulfilling life

Webinar replays include:

  • Slides accompanying the webinar
  • Related resources from ADDitude
  • Free newsletter updates about ADHD
  • An opportunity to receive a certificate of attendance

This ADHD Experts webinar was first broadcast live on July 9, 2020.
