Why are most of the articles and presentations about the impact of estrogen/progesterone aimed only at adolescents and late adulthood/menopause? Adult women have already been snubbed by providers, researchers, and the community for years. Why continue disregarding the MULTITUDE of reasons someone may experience moderate-severe hormone fluctuations? Our generation has a higher rate of diagnosis for things like PCOS and Hashimoto’s, both of which impact estrogen/progesterone. Not to mention how this subject completely overlooks the intersection of ADHD and the Trans community, who often take medication to increase and/or suppress estrogen/progesterone/testosterone. Can we please stop ignoring the QUICKLY growing population of middle-aged women who have very little resources and are already having to fight with providers for visibility? At the very least, I’d think your advertisers would like to be engaging with us, seeing as we make up a large part of the current market. But how can they do that when we aren’t identified as missing from the table??
