  1. One heck of a presentation. I had been going through motivational speeches one after the other. Feels like this filled in a very big gap.

Thank you very much. May God reward you. Aameen.

  2. Good afternoon! I think this will be the perfect seminar for me as I’m an adult with ADHD and OCD. I work in sales and office out of my home and car. I’m away from home 2-3 nights per week and make sales calls close to home the rest of the days. I am very overwhelmed with getting paperwork and emails completed while on the road. Also, I’m a listaholic and this is where my personal life and career overlap. My two worlds seem to collide, therefore prioritizing and time management is out the window! In addition, my home life suffers and my house seems to be collecting more items as I try to juggle everything. Thank you! I look forward to hearing more tomorrow.

  3. Hi! Susan,
I become overwhelmed with emails from Nutritionists and people who email me their information and expertise on particular diets–Paleo, Gluten Free, KETOGENIC, ETC., and other information I’m interested in reading, but EVERY DAY I receive more information and I cannot keep up. I have a problem with prioritizing what I would really like to read, and deleting the rest. Then all of this builds up day after day, and before long, I have over 1000 emails to do something with. Then I feel SO overwhelmed, that I don’t even turn on my computer–for days at a time!!!! Do you have any suggestions on how I can deal with this dilemma???? Thank you very much for your input.
    Sincerely,
    Renee M.

  4. I am a freelance writer lacking impulse control, particularly when I get overwhelmed. I do get things projects in on time when I have deadlines, but I struggle with working on projects that don’t have a deadline. Self-imposed deadlines generally don’t work for me. When I get overwhelmed, too often when I sit down to write (and I’m not on deadline), I’m embarrassed to say, I end up doing online puzzles. There’s something about the finite aspect of finishing a puzzle that triggers those happy hormones in my brain and that soothes my anxiety. I do know how to meditate and do yoga and I do those things. I guess, I just need something to help me stay focused when I know I want to be writing instead of playing games. Thoughts? Thanks for doing this webinar. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to make it to the live class, but I will watch it if I can’t. Thanks again and best to you for the happiest new year!

    1. Ugh. And I should have read that before I posted it. I get projects in on time — not things. Yes, I know, perfectionist syndrome. But it’s important if I’m trying to market myself as a writer!! Sheesh!

  5. I am a SAHM of a large family, including two who are not yet school age. I feel like I am being pulled in ten different directions at once, and some of my tasks (like drink spills or stinky diapers) pop up with little warning and need to be dealt with immediately. How do I plan my day around the chaos, and how do I get back on track?

  6. I am self-employed and also started school for my Masters. Add that to the list of things to get done at home and I have several to-do lists. Tasks from different parts of my life often have the same level of importance. What is an effective way to prioritize and manage my several to-do lists? Sometimes I get overwhelmed just trying to write down everything written down that I need to get accomplished. I’m so far behind in everything right now!
