  1. Hmmm…interesting point Jim. I suppose it depends upon whether having friends is your highest priority. As we age, it seems like our health and finances take center stage…even though it would be nice to have a bit of support when a crisis arises. Also, when you live in a big city and you have daily activities, you feel less alone.

    I have spent most70 of my 80 years unaware that I was ADHD. In the last Few years though I was a church participant,member of a few choirs and an ex servicemans snooker group, the Pandemic interrupted participation in all. This was Partly because I began to sleep from 2 or 3 in the morning to Noon or later. I found to my delight that I was enjoying this “lonelynees” to a great degree.
    My question is, do we have to have friends in order to enjoy life. I think not. For those of us with this affliction, maybe “this”is not a way to gain “the good life”
