  1. Well this is just terrible advice to be honest. Advising people to not tell their boss? As if they could do anything to negatively impact your work. I wouldn’t hesitate telling my boss about my diagnosis, and I didn’t. She was extremely supportive, and gives me support if and when I need it. This is just closed a minded opinion and enforces the idea to fear your boss, which is just not what you should be doing. Not sure where in the world this has being written, but here in the UK we are protected by the disability act, meaning that no one can discriminate on the grounds of any physical or mental disabilities or conditions…

  2. This advice is awful!! I’ve just had a diagnosis and the first person I told WAS my boss. Why would you put yourself in a position of disadvantage because of fear or shame? I’m from the UK and you can’t discriminate against a disability, I’m not sure what this article suggests about the US but this advice is WAY off for 2020 and other counties. I’ve struggled my whole life and now it’s time to share my struggles and my super talents!
