As many of us know, sports is the best way to manage ADHD symptoms for a lot of people, and during covid, many people were trapped indoors and could not access the physical exercise they needed to stay regulated. I would not be surprised, it you look at the data and asked about sport/exercise/movement you will find the missing link.

  2. Thank you for this insight. With so many variables that could influence ADHD, hopefully, they will continue to be examined and understood. A good start might be non-ADHD medications like testosterone suppressants/blockers, wherein extremely little is available on the cellular level. My ADHD changed drastically when the uptake blocker Rx was added.

  3. Getting Covid in 2022 excacerbated my “brain fog” and memory issues. In parallel there was more discussion in the media about neurodiversity. This led to be getting diagnosed with ADHD in 2024 at the age of 58. In hindsight my symptoms had been up and down over the years, and were most noticeable during times of significant work or personal stress.
