  1. DEI is dangerous and not at all helpful to the population with disabilities. I’ve worked with individuals with disabilities for over 30 years and DEI hasn’t done a thing for any of them. It has been shown to be discriminatory to the average white male and even female. I’m in sync with the other commente, I have always enjoyed articles from ADDitude, but if articles like this continue to be published, I will find my information elsewhere.

  2. I’ve worked with Disabilities in two States for 35 years plus and there are plenty of programs and laws that protect and offer services for those with disabilities. No need for more in the DEI arena. DEI in my opinion is a reverse discriminatory program based on race, skin color, sexual orientation and nothing to do with Disabilities!!

    Thank God we have learned our lesson and it’s being exterminated from our institutions.

    I’m grateful for articles like this so we will never forget it’s evil and give anything like it another chance.

  4. DEI is being dismantled because it’s being abused and the meaning of the acronym being completely misrepresented. These actions will not affect students with disabilities. Please be careful with sharing biased opinions.

  5. Thank you for this article. People don’t realize what DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) encompasses. They won’t get it until it affects them or someone close to them directly. “Under attack” is not too strong a term.

  6. I told my employer I had ADHD and needed support for my disability and was targeted by the DEI coach and HR Manager. They were happy to have something that they could use to target me instead of my color and I was harassed daily by employees who were pressured by the DEI coach and HR Manager. Eventually I was fired and got a lawyer to push back. I got a settlement but they got me fired. The person who brought DEI into that company got my old job. She was the Marketing Manager and a good friend of the HR Manager. It was corrupt and I do not advise Neuro Diverse people to trust DEI Coaches or HR.

  7. There are so many things wrong with this article, I don’t even know where to start. Rather than voice my feelings, I will simply ask that you no longer print articles like this. I have used your resources for many years, and this is the first time I ever wanted to unsubscribe. Please stick with informative and helpful information. This was neither.

  8. Fear-mongering much? “escalating attack”? Perpetual, self-appointed victimhood is a choice this neurodiverse household chooses not to make.
