Virtual reality games may be an objective way to diagnose ADHD, according to the Finland-based researchers who created EPELI. A study of VR task performance and visual attention successfully distinguished ADHD from control groups in children with ADHD, according to a recent press release.

My son has ADHD and plays VR games. Boy does his energy come out! He plays more physical games like tag and climbing. Anything that requires active movement. However, when he plays with others his emotions can run strong, so I’ll only remind him a few times to mellow out before I insist he takes a break to calm down. This usually works, but not always. I find these articles so helpful and informative.
