I don’t think students with disabilities are ready to go to college after high school. That is my personal opinion. Our son did Community college after high school and during that time I searched for a college that had our son’s interest & also had a “two year transition program” for students with disabilities. Look at thinkcollege.net they have many options, but it takes some time to research. With 1 year at a community college, and two years of the transition program our son will be three years older and will be at a better age to start college if that is what is decided after his last year of the transition program this year.
