“Seeing Camden Clearly: How a Diagnosis Unlocked My Son's Best Self"

“It was time, I realized, to stop ignoring what had been staring me in the face. It was time to stop rolling my eyes at other parents who said their kids had ADHD. It was time to stop clicking my tongue in disapproval at these parents because they chose to use medicine to help.”

  1. I am also in this exact situation with my 11 year old and will be exploring medication this summer for him. Can you tell me which medication your child responded to? thanks for posting this! It’s so reassuring to know that there are others out there in the same boat!

  2. Thank you for what is, for me, a very timely article. After four years of trying everything but medication to treat our 8-year-old daughter’s ADHD, we recently made the difficult decision to finally try medication. We are already seeing improvement after just a few weeks. I have agonized over this decision and reading an article from someone who is in almost the exact same boat as us has helped me to feel better about it.
