  1. My parents have been working very hard on my sister’s reading. And so have I. We tried reading aloud, reading together, discussing, retelling, keeping a special list of achievements (more books read, more gifts and privileges for my sister). I can’t say that she is on the same level as her peers (this is impossible with such a diagnosis), but she is making great progress.
    It’s just that you really have to work more with these children! Thank you for sharing your experience!
