I’m so glad you are embracing the middle school years! I too just survived through the younger years, but kept thinking my oldest was actually older than he was for longer than I should’ve. It took me until he was in high school to realize that I should be embracing the now. The high school years, and now with first year of university complete, makes you realize just how little they still are in middle school. Enjoy every minute, and even though they are maturing, they still have their moments of being little. Especially if they have ADHD. When those days happen, you can still ‘Let them be little’! And both of you will be glad you did.
