If I could wave a magic wand I would have peaceful mornings and we would leave the house on time. Both my husband and my son have ADHD and mornings are like a horror show. Erratic emotions run high and nothing is predictable. Wallets and keys have grown legs, breakfast is poison, strong coffee is a must. Like sleeping beauty neither my husband nor my son are awake and they will be late again. Frequently missed flights, dropped classes, and lost jobs are how the story line goes. I wish for peace and a happy ending to our story.
If I could wave a wand to change one thing about our mornings it would be to find something my VERY picky eater would like to eat without fussing so much. I want a healthy, yet fast breakfast. Trying to make sure my grandson eats, gets dressed and out the door without a meltdown is the beginning of a great day.
