  1. I was diagnosed 20 years ago in my mid 40’s when my sons were in junior high. Because of the busyness of life at the time (school activities, aging parents, work, etc), I wasn’t consistent enough with getting the help I needed. Now in my mid 60’s and retired, I’m finding the time but it’s too late to repair the damage I did to my family. I won’t get into details here but find that living out the remainder of my life knowing the major hurt I’ve caused them is unbearable at times. Most of the time, my behavior was linked to the unmanaged ADD symptoms that I didn’t focus on when I should have. If I could only turn back time.
