I was missed being diagnosed for ADHD for the same reasons as your daughter – but I am a male. Quite frankly, I am finding it disheartening to read over and over and over again on the internet how inattentive ADHD is a girl problem. It’s also a boy problem. I fear that casual readers will assume that boys are hyper and girls are inattentive and rarely do they present in the opposite order yet this isn’t true. Boys have inattentive ADHD too – but for the same reason as girls – ANYONE with inattentive ADHD is easily overlooked.
