I don’t feel like singing anymore. I am not happy, and often wish I would just pass away.
But then I feel sorry for my cat.

YOU ARE SINGING THE STORY OF MY LIFE!
I ALWAYS felt better as I sing. My childhood was filled with a family, singing together, while we washed dishes, doing chores, or just because! When I married, I continued to sing, like you said, to stay focused. Happy songs. My husband hated it and it irritated him. When my boys got a little older, they would howl when I sang. So, I stopped. And I’ve had trouble focusing.
I sang, I whistled, I hummed, I sing alto in Church, even when no one else around me is, because I love the sound of harmonious music, like my childhood. I’m going to start singing again! Since my kids are grown and gone and my husband is working, I can now sing my heart out!
Thank You for the post! ~M~
