I love poetry. it has been an important part of my life since my teens. I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 69 and started pursuing poetry seriously then. My life is better for the pursuit.
I taught Adults for 15 years and loved every minute of it. I had to leave that job because of life circumstances. I’ve never liked my job since. I know teaching is my passion but it doesn’t pay enough in my situation. I agree with your article 100%. My father was a teacher for over 50 years and never wanted to stop. My brother’s career is his life long passion too. If only we could all do what we love.
