I enjoyed this article it shared many good strategies that I plan to try use. I must say however having of a child who was diagnosed with Dyslexia and processing disorders accompanied with ADD and as a parent who was diagnosed as an adult with ADHD I was disappointed with the concluding paragraph. Specifically the statement “ pills don’t teach skills”. I suffered my intire life not having a clue what was going on with me. Only through my daughter’s journey did it become clear. She would not be as successful as she is in school without the assistance of medication. In my opinion the blanket comment could have been left out of the article.
