  1. Hi, I hope this is a place to ask questions. I’m fostering a 14yo boy with pretty severe ADD. I don’t feel his medication is working well, but really don’t have a say in that. My real question is, do kids with ADD have a harder time communicating thier emotions? His mother was put in prison for Heroin possession and he’s very close to her, but rarely talks about it or all the turmoil, trauma and pain he’s been through over the years. He’s an amazing, wise and very well behaved young man, and I’ve grown very close to him, but considering he’s been suicidal in the past, I worry that he’s not opening up. Helllp 😟
