So no one is addressing the fact, that it can be physically painful for us to maintain eye contact? No one is going to address, how Neurotypical people make us feel, when you tell other peoole we’re essentially wrong and broken? Perhaps the Neurotypical people are the wrong ones and they need to be fixed, because all I see is a large group of peoole, who do not care to change their world – to fit in people like me. That’s extremely annoying and frankly, makes me even more proud NOT to be like people, who aren’t on the spectrum. There is NOTHING wrong with us NOT following YOUR social protocols. YOU ARE WRONG, for forcing US to fit into YOUR boxes. I think people should focus on diagnosing what’s wrong with Neurotypical people. Such as why they think we need to learn, to be like you guys. Most of the world piggybacks off US geniuses, with autism and y’all barely knew. If it wasn’t for the autism gene, you all would still be sitting in a cave, talking, getting nothing done. That’s a fact. Don’t teach us social cues, teach us how to ignore Neurotypical people and exist in our logical, intellectual worlds. Don’t teach us to make eye contact, teach Neurotypical people how to STOP STARING AT PEOPLE. It’s insanely disgusting and invasive. Don’t teach us to fit in, because we can’t comprehend that level of stupid. We are above it. Teach us to cope with our troubles, in OUR ways. Stop trying to “manage” us. We’re not dogs. Manage yourselves first. :}
