  1. So, much of what you say is true. However, if you are also ASD1, it makes this process much harder. Meds make the post situation thoughts easier to process and bring around. However, during, it is very difficult! Not impossible, but this article was timely! I had a recurring situation that I have been dealing with for my whole life, my mother, I’m 59 now, and she pulled the same old thing. I did shut down, like always, but was able to process the situation afterwards better than ever before, I’ve only been on meds for 4 months! Wish I had them as a kid! My life would have been totally different!!
