I wish I could get my husband to see how difficult having ADD really is. The part that said “For example, asking someone with ADD to do ALL the housecleaning would likely lead to disagreements or resentments“ really struck a chord with me because I do literally ALL the housework and cooking on top of my job as a teacher and a 45 mile commute to work. I’m exhausted and barely keeping it together on a daily basis and I’m always asked to do ONE MORE THING. My husband doesn’t understand at all how strapped for time I am as well. I may not work two paying jobs like he does, but my time is just as valuable and limited. I can only do so much.
