This article, this information, is absolutely exciting. I’ve been a coach working with ADHD adults for well over 25 years. I pay attention to the meds clients take. I’ve learned so much from my clients and, of course, I’ve learned from the professionals who prescribe, write books and lead webinars (on ADDitude!)and from those who present at conferences. This approach to medication makes so much sense from my purely observational experience. I’d love to hear from other practitioners who prescribe in this way or who begin to use this approach. Thank you, Additude, for providing us with science, information and hope.
We recently began a combination therapy with our 9 yo son, and we’re looking forward seeing how it works for him. We’re still dialing in the dosage, so it’s a process.
I am encouraged by the results of combination therapy. There is still hope for better function!
