Expletive Not Deleted: My Son's Blooper in Dance Class

Sure, ADHD causes impulsive speech. But sometimes when kids with attention deficit misbehave, they're just, well, being kids — and this mom can swear to it.

  1. Swear words are just words. As long as they’re not aimed at someone with intent of hurting them, they cannot in themselves be evil. As a former 8 year old boy who used to put drunken sailors to shame and a current clinician who people call “doctor,” I LOVE it when people swear in my office and I let them know it when they cover their mouths and apologize. It shows me without a doubt that they are being real and genuine and showing who they really are. The friends we all see on facebook are only showing us their pretty candy shells, but the good stuff is the dull-brown chocolate on the inside.
