  1. I went back to school for my Masters degree at age 53.
    I always knew there was something not quite right in my mind, my ability to learn and retain new material. In the past, I would always find a way to digest and regurgitate material through shear persistence. This no longer was an option, as a full-time employee, parent, spouse; I just could not keep up. A mental health counselor was treating me for depression when we stumbled across the ADD diagnosis. I now have my degree and successfully practicing in health care.
