Social distancing feels an awful lot like social isolation for many of us. And though our teens are connected through Xbox and Instagram and Discord and text messages, they are social creatures and the physical distance from their friends is quickly becoming a serious emotional and psychological strain. Not to mention the anxiety associated with coronavirus fears. If your teenager with ADHD has, like so many do, a comorbid condition like depression, you may be worried that their exaggerated emotions, anxiety, and social isolation is pushing them into dangerous territory.

Here to speak with us today about this topic is Wes Crenshaw, Ph.D., a licensed psychologist, board certified in Couples and Family Psychology. Dr. Crenshaw owns a private practice, Family Psychological Services in the greater Kansas City metro area and he is also author of the book I Always Want to Be Where I’m Not: Successful Living with ADD and ADHD (#CommissionsEarned).
