MY tiny REMINDER

This vibrating alarm joins a long list of alarms, clocks, watches, timers, and reminders designed to keep forgetful, distracted people, like adults with ADHD, on time and on task — but does it work? An ADDitude reader put MY tiny REMINDER to the test.

MY tiny REMINDER

“I am an executive at a busy advertising agency, and I have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADD/ADHD). I sometimes use my cell phone to help me remember things — to call a client or set up a doctor’s appointment — but I misplace it a lot. A friend recommended MY tiny REMINDER, which is about the size of a chewing-gum pack. I set the vibrating alarm to alert me to meetings at the office, and to call my kids and to go home. I no longer have to check the clock every 15 minutes. This device can be tucked into the wrist wallet that comes with the gadget, but I prefer to keep it in a clothes pocket. My Tiny Reminder quietly lets me — not the world — know when it’s time to do something.”
