    I am so thankful I found this thread, had the same experience with my doctor, it was humiliating but now I understand why they need to do the drug test.

    It’s so nice to know that your niece grew up as a better or rather “in-control” person. She’s lucky because not all people with ADHD grow up for the better, especially if they are neglected by professional help in their childhood.

    Your friend is experiencing symptoms of having ADD and that’s why you did nothing wrong, it’s just that, there are better ways to communicate with people who have ADD. There are online consultations and/or mental websites that can help you have an idea as to how you can better communicate with your friend. Cheers!

    Give him finger foods or better yet bring him to a specialist for more treatment that is best for him.

    Don’t be scared to go to the doctor. He/she will advise you the best things to do to manage your ADHD. He can refer you to a therapist or specialist to help you even better.

    Yes, these are common issues we normally notice to our cousin. She’s seeing a therapist for 3 years already.
    Anxiety
    Low self-esteem
    Impulsiveness
    Unorganized
    Easily frustrated
    Chronic boredom
    Mood swings
