While ADHD can cause a child to be driven by emotions and impulsive, what you describe could be related to a different condition. A condition that could be aggravated by stimulant medication. I suggest you have your child reevaluated ASAP.

I’m feeling you. I worked with 1st responders for over 25 years and believed that I never fit in. A few things that I came to realize which helped.
    1. There WERE times when I really connected to someone. That is harder to remember

    2. Perhaps you are not supposed to fit in. Maybe you are meant to be set apart

    3. You have meaningful relationships outside of work. If you keep that in mind, it will be enough.

    4. The pain you are experiencing now will one day help someone who is not as strong as you are.

Embrace who you are and trust in your destiny

I agree with those who smell bipolar disorder.
IF that is the case, please know that BF may not get help. IF he does, treatment is very tedious, taking a lot of trial & error. I suspect suicide threats from BF. If so, take it seriously but allowing it to control you will make you sick….in fact, if so, you should get counseling
I wish you a blessed and happy life

    Everyone has such great advice
When you are frustrated and tired, advice is difficult to receive. Don’t read advice when you are in a state of being that causes you to reject.
Here is what I have to offer you
    1. If you have a spiritual life, use it. It will help you to regain your center and perhaps repair important relationships.
    2. Read through all the above advice again…when you’re ready
    A. Have pen and paper
    B. Pick out the pieces that are meaningful to you and write them down
    3. Set goals and list objectives under no more than 3 goals THAT BRING REAL JOY AND FULFILMENT
Use your calender to schedule each objective
I wish you a blessed and happy life
