It is, but there are good people out there. I have a doctors which is good, but I keep searching hoping I find one who I feel truly’gets me’. The hardest part for me and maybe you is just dialing the number. But we owe it to ourselves.March 27, 2018 at 8:17 pm in reply to: I'm not sure what's going on with me since my childhood, anyone expert, please #80155
You’re not alone. Trust yourself, if you think you’re dealing with something keep searching until you find a doctor or specialist that makes you feel comfortable. I went through the similar challenges finding the “right” doctor. It’s not fun calling doctors and going through the process. I found it exhausting, but it’s worth it.
Congrats on your BA, I got mine later than my peers to, but that didn’t matter. What mattered is you did it, so be proud of your accomplishment.
Keep searching!March 26, 2018 at 7:47 am in reply to: Little patience with other drivers…other shoppers, etc. #79931
I get the same feelings. The grocery store is frustrating, the isles aren’t clear, the lines are long, and either families walk 4-wide in an isle or there’s a large pole conveniently blocking me from where I need to be haha. Parking lots, mixers, pretty much any social setting where there’s a lot of things happening at the same time.
I think Stabright is right on.
It sounds like you invest a lot of your time in helping others, which can be rewarding in more ways than one. The thing we as humans often forget is we also need to invest in ourselves as well. Kudos to you though for raising your hand and asking for help, it can be difficult to do.
