I really love my job and the work with people, I only have trouble with colleagues because they think that someone who was able to gain many academic degrees should be able to “see these things”. That’s a problem that comes up so often.
Of course it helps me. It is calming in a good way, but not all the time during the time it should work. There are times when it works better than others. And afterwards I sometimes feel more tired than usual.
Would you suggest taking a second dose of 10 mg extended at noon ? My doctor said I could do that if I was tired at noon – I just never tried it because I was always tired later
I take Ritalin extended release and just started a week ago so I have only 10 mg in the morning. I start feeling tired at around 3-4 pm and take the medication around 7-8 am
Well I am not an anxious person, just moving and talking much and fast. I have a job where it may be very important to calm people and relax situations so I can understand why I seem to not make a good job regarding that.
What effect has L theanine with coffee for you ? Any experiences?
The breathing thing when I for instance meditate just helps for like 15 minutes. Been trying that for a couple years.
I am not focused for 3 or 4 hours, but I see an improvement during that time compared to the days without sport. I would love to have at least a slight improvement for more than that. I never tried medication but maybe there is something else which prolongs the period?
My only problem is that it only helps for 3 or 4 hours.
Sorry I meant ADHD. Does L theanine itself make you calmer and more focused?
