Sending positive thoughts for a happy new year!! 🙂 No one knows your story better then you so I just comment to give an internet hug and any support I can offer based on my experience. A lot of people like me send love and friendship to you I bet!
Imo from personal experience it was easier to use ADHD or any substance use disorder as a reason for some of my ex fiance’s erratic, threatening, and controlling behavior to maintain hope in the relationship. this was better for me, bc I didn’t want this relationship to not work out and he had a lot of hooks in me emotionally.
He did love me, in his own way, but had huge dramatic anger issues. Being with someone, who is potentially unchangeable and fundamentally has perhaps power and control issues, is just in my experience, exceptionally challenging and does have sometimes overlapping issues with narcissism and substance abuse and or ADHD. However some of the time this might be an excuse for people who drink too much to use ADHD medication to go to work. I have real ADHD and do not like that idea of using things people actually need and yelling at people etc and excuses. I just personally saw my ex fiances primary issue was temper eventually. Leaving was so hard but just for me that was the best thing I could do. The mindset of entitlement can sometimes be “my way or the highway”. Yet it is different for everyone, depending on your situation, so difficult bc sometimes it is so hard to tell whether it is the chicken or egg or a mixed bag but there are resources whatever road you choose to explore. if the right medications work for him that could be life changing and could help him a lot perhaps. imo try to discover the source of the problem and trust your heart and know you’re beautiful and will get through this with him and things will only get better if it is right or even not!

If your spouse could open a manufacturing warehouse for small amounts of the right amphetamine, I would hazard a guess these problems would clear, unless she’s the one making “excuses”, which is very insensitive given I personally find it impossible to treat my long term ADHD right now and would like everyone to be nice and straightforward as much as reasonably possible. I have been in a kinda non optimal mood since the batch went bad. I hope it gets better but not taking is better right now for me.

These meds really are horrid right now. I started having all the symptoms of ADHD plus more weird things continuing to take the Aurobindo IMO pretend Dexedrine that Ive taken for 15 yrs at 40MG.

We need our manufacturer who is 100% trustworthy and accountable in the United States immediately. Until then I dont think any of us who regularly take amphetamine can get the right type and treat our rare ADHD problems which are hard to understand to almost all people, because they dont have them and can consider themselves lucky. It is pointless to debate taking a medication that doesn’t work really at all right now.

Best of luck and Happy new Year.

I was on 40mg/ Dexedrine spansule (mostly generic) for 15 yrs. I took myself off mid summer bc Aurobindo sucks or what we were getting before was way better for some reason like it was the remnants from a 1950’s supply with Barbiturates in it but yes I agree I think the current supply from Aurobindo is frightening and I have on the same dose had horrible opiate like withdrawals from reading online I think at the same dosage same times of the day.

I cant do this w Aurobindo and would rather be completely distracted and literally have narcolepsy. I hear you guys on the weird side effects. They were too much for me. I wrote the FDA we need our own warehouse in America and have called to try to just make this right.

    Best, Liz

These batches have been terrible as of the last few years imo and the last 7 yrs generally.
Ive Taken 40mg dexedrine a day for 15 yrs consistently in morning and at noon. Went off, my idea, 2 months ago. Its the acquisition I think.

I have terrible ADHD and severe narcolepsy but was getting so sick randomly and still get nothing done but its better then getting sick or paying for things which don’t work.

Peace and best wishes and I don’t think you’re crazy at all to feel this way.
