It’s so annyoing. I do look around the room but then if I look at something, like a computer or a TV, my brain remembers that I forgot to watch my favorite show or something related and then I daydream about it. And then I have no idea what my parents or sibling just said..

Your not alone! I don’t get things easily, I need lots of explaining to understand whats going on or how to do it. For instance, soccer practice is a nightmare for me because sometimes we do really confusing drills and the coach explains it to the team and they get it after the second try! I never get how to do them, once, our old coach set up a drill and everyone got the drill but me, so I kept wrecking everything and I had to sit out. Also this problem comes with math too!!

You got this! Just tell her all of your symptoms, concerns, and worries. Doctors are supposed to take things seriously.

How old are you? I’m 15. I also see pictures in my brain, but that only happens when I’m reading, also from first to fifth grade I had to work on speech. I still sometimes have grammar issues while I’m speaking. It’s just so annoying. Also maybe what’s causing me not to be able to explain things is my impulsivness and excitement that’s getting in the way. I am going to go to the doctor in a week to get checked out for ADHD. I’m pretty darn sure I have the combined type. Is it possible that you can have mainly hyperactive but with a few inattentive symptoms? Cause that’s what I’m experiencing. sheesh, I just went on a rant.

Yes!! I am exactly the same!! I’ve been trying to find someone who could actually relate to me! I’m very outgoing and hyperactive. I don’t have very many friends either, and reading articles that are boring are a real pain! My advise is just saying to myself, “you can do this, if you do this, you’ll get that.” Also since I’m very hyperactive, I like to exercise first before I do anything school related and mentally sustained. It really helps. Have you tried any fidget toys?

Ok I’ll try that, I have a fidget cube but it usually gets boring after a few minutes. I’ll try Kahn academy. And maybe just taking a lap around the school will help me focus.

Ok, my parent definitely fits the category of over focused ADD. She always loses track of time, she’s always late to work, she’s forgetful, and she hyper focuses on her work like every day. This happens consistently.

Ok so do you think it’s my personality or ADHD?

Ok, so your saying ADHD is more likely to influence my personality, what do you mean? I’ve been so hyper ever since first grade.. but i don’t think I had trouble with ADHD symptoms until this year in highschool… Which sucks! I’m honestly super confused. I have so many ADHD symptoms but sometime there severe and sometimes there not.
