Is there proof of adhd because i don’t think that me being energetic and forgetful is a disorder and i don’t want to take powerful stimulants if i don’t have anything wrong with me and i only argue with teachers because they ask me allot of questions at once and blame bad behaviour on me skipping taking my meds (vyvanse) if it is real i dont mind taking them i just want proof

Now i have to have them or i am terified i will blurt out somthing i will regret or say somthing wrong to the wrong person or i will loose somthing or my grades will drop i blame ritalin (adderall and vyvanse to) but ritalin changed me the most now if i skip taking them thats all i can think about “i wish i had my medicine so i could focus” or ” i bet if i took my meds i wouldn’t have said that

You should let him grow before giving him meds try mabye after he is 9 or 10 i have tookin meds since i was 11 but my om was terrified to make me take them so i only took ritalin once until i was 13 my teachers kept complaining i was forgetfull and i day dreamed and lost assignments i tried ritalin but after a few weeks it stopped working and i was switched meds every since im not only innatentive i started to get in trouble when i didn’t take my medicine (adderall 10mg twice a day) but when i did i hated it and now im not only addd but adhd and i blame ritalin i only took 5mg twice a day but it was to strong so i took 2.5 two times a day it didn’t work and when i finaly switched meds it was to late now i take vyvanse 30 mg bc i didn’t want to go up to 40mg try counciling otr try signing him up for sports i wish my doctors would have instead of shoving drugs down my throat just because i fadmited “i coudn’t focus”

Hey i am 14 and i am forced to take meds for “ADHD” but i have B.A.B BEING A BOY ADHD Isn’t real and now i cant go without taking meds because i’ve gotten so used to taking them i get angry even more hyper than before starting meds when i am not taking them and when i do i cant sleep my heart is pounding out my chest i have head aches and i can feel my bodyi wouldn’t mind taking non-stimulants but when i me and my mom asked if i colud take straterra the doctor said that it takes weeks to work and your symtoms need immediate relief.

Also how come every parent that does not disipline there kids thanks there i somthing wrong. I have a friend down the road who has a 7 year old sister aand her mom does not do anything about it when she screams no or WRECKS THE GOLF CART or DOSN’T FINISH CHORES JUST IN SPITE she knows that i have it i have a been evaluated by a phycyatrist and not by a family care doctor she assumes that i “cant sit stiil” that meds means she doesn’t have to DISIPLINE A CHILD WHEN SHE DOES SOMETHING SHE KNOWS IS WRONG and she doesn’t struggle at school she has honor roll she doesn’t get in trouble(exept around her mom) but how could you expect a 7 year old girl to behave when you dont spank her take away her stuff or even verbily repreamand her.

Oh and i will answer your question from a couple post ago yes i get better grades and i dont blurt out whatever comes to mind but meds do that to every one. I watched a documentary on netflix aboutmany coledge students and workers and atheletes taking adhd meds to endure boring task longer and increase pain tolerance and reaction time to lose weight and to be more productive even thoygh 90% don’t have adhd or fake the diagnoses (they admitted it ) how come they feel like meds “turn on the jets” and a person that ligit had adhd complained about the same things i do and stated “i will never make my kids take meds” it is called “take your pills and was filmed last year.”

But is that normal for meds to make me feel wierd. is it just me not being used to that feeling or is it a side effect.
Am i supposed to be able to notice when it kicks in.

Same when i take meds i bite my fingernails even though i dont have ocd

Yes the nurse will make me open my mouth to make sure i take them.
