    Hi all,

Sorry, but this is the strangest experience I have had on any medication.

I was on two off-label medications last year and the year before to help me focus (Straterra and then Modafinil). The modafinil worked initially, but then stopped, and I was miserable. Then I received the ADD diagnosis. Started on Vyvanse 20 mg a day, then titrated up to 40 daily.

All of a sudden, in the 3rd month, I think the Vyvanse is working. I haven’t changed anything else. I don’t feel hyperactive like I did at first (which is just as bad as having ADD to me); I’m finishing projects and now am planning some other projects to do. It took a good 3 months, though.

Is this normal? I hate to ask that stupid question, but this experience (at age 56) has just been so unusual.

    Thanks.
