Hi. I am interested in other people who have had to take higher doses of ADHD medicines than are typically advised by the FDA. For example, someone taking 90 mg of Adderall Xr, someone taking 140 mg Vyvanse, someone on 144 mg Concerta, etc.
*Right now I’m on 65 mg Focalin, and 20 mg Dextro and I don’t think it’s enough for me some days.*
I am curious as to why you’re taking both methylphenidate and an amphetamine. To my knowledge, people do better with either one or the other, but not both. I think that I am possibly one of the people who do well on a dose that is higher than the dose range the FDA studied; it is possible. I read this on an AdditudeMag Article called “Patient’s Primer on ADHD medication”. If you find it, it may answer a lot of your questions. Good luck.
