I was diagnosed with ADHD and a Learning Disability at the age of 27. Finding out brought a combination of both joy & anger. I was happy that I finally knew what was causing my difficulties but at the same time, angry that it took so long for me to find out. At times, I feel like if I knew sooner, I wouldn’t have to deal with the setbacks that I still struggle with to this day (expulsion from school, poor grades, a low SAT score). It’s even more difficult to find information on going back to school. The only information that I can find only pertains to both children and teenagers. I could use some help and, if possible, someone to point me in the right directon.
