Hi, I am new to this and have three teens with ADHD (and ASD). My youngest can’t swallow tablets and I wondered, if any of you have the same difficulty and whether anybody knows if there are any liquid ADHD meds? My Camhs tell me there aren’t. Many thanks

There are many liquid ADHD meds on the market (including Adderall). But I’ve heard Quillivant liquid is a good one for ADHD/ASD. I have NO experience with this medication, this is just what I’ve heard. Good luck to you – I know it’s so hard.

Quillivant has a liquid and a chewable (Quillichew):

Plus, there are medications that can be opened and sprinkled or dissolved, like Vyvanse, Metadate and APtensio.

If a doctor doesn’t know there are options to swallowing pills for ADHD medication, you’re not seeing the right doctor.
