add? Was diagnosed as an adult with add. After having my children and seeing the struggles of my oldest son with paying attention at school, being put on an I.E.P. and being diagnosed with add, I realized this was me as a child. I was called a daydreamer, not studious…I was not hyper at all and neither is my son. I’m just wondering if the two types are treated differently.

Today they don’t use the term ADD anymore, it’s ADHD Inattentive Type. The treatment is the same for both, although accommodations could be different.
