Maybe I’m overthinking things, but I find things that seem similar on the surface, but may be completely different for counseling/treatment. And I don’t seem to be looking the right way elsewhere on the ‘net.
How is rejection sensitive dysphoria different from social avoidance?
What is the difference between hyper-fixate and hyper-focus?

I think those with RSD may be social avoiders but may not be. RSD is the reaction to things said or done by others, which could cause social avoidance but they aren’t the same thing.

I don’t know that there’s any difference between hyper-fixate and hyper-focus other than terminology.
