Yes they can. Luckily for my daughter her school district let’s each School decide for it’s self. As both myself and my husband also are ADD we find the fidget spinner useful for all of us. The “hum” it makes is not loud but soothing. Also, the vibration from the spinner is sensory stimulating. All of us concentrate better if our hands have something to do. The spinner stops my husband from rubbing his fingers together, which is annoying.
