Hello there. I just found this forum in lockdown time. Brilliant.
I am a 65 year old professional woman in rural and remote Western Australia. I have been diagnosed by both a psychiatrist and a specialist psychologist – just to make sure!
I have been doing weekly Skype therapy and this has been the most rewarding experience ever. While not keen on medication, I am trialling dex and that is going really well – except for restless legs at night, which a heat massager can fix.
I would love to chat with other latecomers, who like me reflect on a lifetime of confusion, guilt about decisions not thought through, failed relationships, doing a bit of everything (well) but a lot of nothing, or grief at how it all could have been different with an early diagnosis.
