Glad I’m not the only one going thru this. I totally agree. Cvs is the worst place matter a fact all the “big name” pharmacies have all gone to the cheapest, non effective crap generic brand and there’s more than one out there now that activis/Teva stopped making IR methylphenidate. Over the 8 years I’ve had no issues getting either mallinkroft or activis/teva brand meds up until 2019. New yellow tablets are garbage, non effective not to mention gives migraines. I don’t understand why when my doctor specifically writes on the prescription “fill only with name brand” that CVS, RITEAID, WALMART, and many local privately owned pharmacies refuse to order/follow a doctors order but that is what I’ve been dealing with for months. Last I checked pharmacies aren’t MD’s their job is to fill/follow a doctor’s order/script I thought anyway. I pay A LOT of money every month for my health insurance coverage not to mention the copays for meds, dr. visit etc. as a patient I gave every right to call and ask what brand each pharmacy has yet when doing so I get attitude from 9 outta 10 pharmacies. I’m not trying to fill early ever nothing shady at all and I’m not calling about a heavy duty opiate so not sure why I’m being treated the way I have been. Walmart refuses to even tell you what brand they have! That’s just ridiculous.
