There are two types of stimulants: amphetamine (Adderall, Vyvanse, Evekeo…) and methylphenidate (Ritalin, Concerta, Quillivant…). Almost everyone does well on one type or the other, but not both. The amphetamines are closest in makeup to dex-amphetamine, so it makes the most sense to go that route. However, everyone has completely different experiences with stimulant medication, so the only way to know what will work for you is to try other meds.
