All stimulants are meant to help ease hyperactivity. There’s not one that’s better for a certain symptom than any others. There are two types of stimulants: amphetamine (Adderall, Vyvanse, Evekeo…) and methylphenidate (Ritalin, Concerta, Quillivant…). Almost everyone does well on one type or the other, but not both. If the Focalin isn’t helping enough with hyperactivity, it may be time to try a new med.
