Exercise for ADHD
“Aside from medication, what exercises can I try to improve my symptoms?”
If you are hyperactive and you know that you will have to relax and sit for a period of time, it might be helpful to do any strenuous exercise. I have some adults who like to jog to their maximum ability or to work out strenuously in a gym. What you do is not as important as doing something strenuous (not walking a mile).
