ADHD is complicated in women. Its symptoms are different — and too often misdiagnosed, ignored, or dismissed. Little girls who grow up with undiagnosed ADHD can carry around a lifetime of shame, poor self-esteem, and unhealthy coping mechanisms. This is a serious problem.
